Manish Goel Enters Bigg Boss 20 as the Season’s First Wildcard Contestant

Television actor Manish Goel has entered Bigg Boss 20 as the season’s first wildcard contestant. The industry veteran brings more than two decades of experience in Hindi entertainment to the reality show. Goel is remembered for popular television dramas including Bhabhi, Kasautii Zindagii Kay and Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii, and has also appeared in Anupamaa.

He previously demonstrated his versatility on the celebrity dance reality show Nach Baliye, where he finished as the first runner-up. In a surprising detail about his entry, Goel said he had not watched a single episode of the season before entering the house. He intends to form opinions about the other contestants through their real-time interactions, rather than relying on impressions formed from watching the show beforehand.

That approach could give the new housemate a different perspective on the season’s existing groups and alliances. As the first wildcard, Goel’s arrival may shift the house dynamics as contestants adjust to a new personality and an experienced television performer. Manish Goel, 51, is from New Delhi.

He completed his 12th board exams at Fr. Agnel School in New Delhi, trained at Stardust Academy in Mumbai and holds a one-year certification in Interior Decoration. His interests include acting, fitness and theatre.
